I’ll look into organizing it. I’ve never done anything like that, but pretty much all the artists in the fandom know each other so it wouldn’t be too hard to pull everyone together.
We could make it an eBook to get around publishing costs. But yes I’d love to do an artbook organized in a way where each character gets a chapter
Posting this here! We made a blog for general discussion, fanart, etc in case any of you here are interested. The game project might be dead, but we aren’t!
Have you seen or heard of the character Kintaurus from the game "sb69/Show By Rock!!"? He could probably fit into the group of canid musician characters as well.
I am peripherally aware of the SBR cast. He does indeed look like a cool dog!
New follower here, and your posts about Nanafuse made me think of something. His first name is, after all, the player's, which makes me wonder if there's some sort of connection there. I mean, Kounosuke tricks you into thinking your childhood drawing was made by a kid who died, if I recall right (haven't watched Morenatsu gameplay vids in a while). Could that be a hint that there's something in your past, such as Nanafuse inspiring you to draw that picture etc.?
You learn in-game that Nanafuse’s first name (Which by default is Hiroyuki, like the default player name) comes from Hiroyuki himself. When Shun approached Nanafuse, he was given his form and when Hiroyuki approached him he was given his name and consciousness.
As far as the drawing goes, it’d make a fun headcanon to play around with the idea it was Nana who influenced Hiro to draw that picture. You learn Nanafuse hangs around the school in a bonus scene you unlock in the gallery after completing Kouno’s route, so you never know!
Zeny: 1-5, 8, 9, 10, 16, 18, 20, 24, 30, 42 All your characters maybe: 25, 27, 41
His former work place was a TV studio. He was a suit actor, someone who does all the stunts in the hero and monster costumes for live action superhero shows. His current job, however, will be revealed once I’m ready to show it.

For these, I’ll answer with Zeny, Lee and Ashe. My other characters are still in the works.
25: What time of year does your OC prefer?
Zeny prefers the summer cuz he loves being active! Lee is all about the autumn and not just because of his namesake. He just finds it very pretty and not too warm nor too cold. Ashe is a winter guy. He’s extremely fluffy and has a high body tempreature so anything but the coldest winter nights is enough to become a sweaty, musky mess.
27: What languages does your OC speak?
All of my characters are at least bilingual because it’s a minimum requirement of the company they all work for. Zeny can speak English and Cantonese. Lee can speak English and Korean. Ashe can speak English and French.
41: What is your OCs motto about life?
Zeny: Take the chance, break the limit!
Lee: He tends to quote his grandmother a lot with stuff like “That which you spend on to eat is never wasted money!” or any other wise old saying she’s had.
Ashe:
L’amour et l’amitié – Love and Friendship
Lee: 3, 24, 29, 30 (I need to know for my sake), 43, 45, 50, 52. :3
3: What’s your OCs favorite food?
Anything sweet but also Korean BBQ!
24: What does your OC smell like?
Like fat lion beastman
29: Can your OC swim?
Absolutely!
30: What does your OC choose to do about the, er, hair down there?
Lee prefers to keep it all natural~
43: Who is your OCs biggest hero?
Growing up, his favorite superhero series was always Massive Hero Samurai, an in-world homage to Ultraman. The main character is fat just like he is, and that positive representation really hit home.
45: Does your OC like reading? He loves to read manga and comics the most! Of course he reads a lot of sci-fi books too! He’s currently reading a book called Contact. You might have heard of it.
50: Does your OC cry easily?
No, he has a lot of patience, but he also understands the importance of crying so he lets himself cry if he has to. Of course, put an emotional visual novel in front of him and suddenly his eyes become waterfalls.
52: How does your OC feel about insects?
He finds them neat!
Would you mind sharing some of your art influences?

Sure!
What first got me doodling casually was the Chrono Trigger boxart by Akira Toriyama that I happened to see at a used game shop. I really liked Chrono’s design and always tried imitating it. This was around 4th grade or so.
But the first artists that really got me drawing seriously were (once again) Akira Toriyama (of Dragonball fame), Yoshihiro Togashi (Yu Yu Hakusho), Hiroyuki Takei (Shaman King) and Eiichiro Oda (One Piece). A classmate brought the first US print issue of Shounen Jump and soon I started borrowing them too.
After that wave of influences, I began to be inspired by old skool anime/manga from artists like Osamu Tezuka (Astro Boy), Shotaro Ishinomori (Cyborg 009), Go Nagai (Mazinger Z) and Ken Ishikawa (Getter Robo). I think it shows mostly in my artwork from 2011-2013 and in how I draw long eyelashes with thick eyebrows on Zeny.
Nowadays, my current influences are various kemono artists ranging from people like Gamma G to professional kemono artists like the Cyberconnect 2 crew (of Tail Concerto and Dot Hack fame). I also pick up a lot of Cyberconnect 2′s artbooks and I highly recommend the Tail Concerto artbook. I also find myself collecting artbook these days and I’ve been eyeing the FLCL artbook myself.
Finally, I often go back to my old influences to see if there’s anything I can learn and incorporate into my style. Often I go back to a lot old works and see that with a new mindset I also find new stylistic choices I find fascinating.
I hope this answers your question sufficiently. Thanks for asking!
Nah, it was pretty random. I’ve been playing Tail Concerto lately, so that might have to do with it.
It’s been about a year since I made this blog a dedicated art blog rather than being a general one. I started out with about 500 followers and a year later I’m almost at 2,000. With how much attention my art gets here, tumblr became my go-to main site for my art over the last year. I just wanted to thank everyone here for sticking around! I love how eclectic this audience has been and how receptive people have been to my different kinds of art! Here’s looking to 2,000 followers soon!
Not necessarily a question but I find your art adorable
