I need to update Zeny’s reference sheet because his hair is a lot more unruly than it was back then lol
Hi there, thank you for the compliment! Glad you like my stuff.
My favorite character in Morenatsu is Kouya Aotsuki, with Kounosuke Kuri coming in at a very close second!
As for Blackgate, I’ve seen it, but I’m not really interested in having a go at it right now. Maybe later, when it’s done, though!
They will engage in a spiky hair duel
does anyone else sometimes walk in place like the kingdom hearts pause menu
just asking for a friend
ha ha
So is it normal to have a billion ideas for a bunch of different stories except for the one you’re actually working on? If so, how does one focus on the current project at hand? It’s very frustrating lol
Doodled a couple of The Boys last night while caught in a nostalgic mood at 1am.
I was reflecting on an aspect of Morenatsu outside of the game itself. When I was younger, I would often spend late nights and early mornings going through random Japanese websites, looking up info and rumors for games that haven’t been released yet. Sometimes, I would do the same for Digimon. Because Morenatsu is so imperfect and incomplete, I would often (and sometimes still do) prod the old 2003 website for info I might have missed about the game’s development. It’s a very nostalgic feeling.
Finally got my specific placement. I don’t want to give too many details but let me tell ya, the initial description is really wild.
I have just been told I’ll be living in a huge family-sized apartment with 3 bed rooms for like 6,000 yen a month (about 60 bucks) and it’s also right behind the school I’ll be working at. Holy shit.
Welp, HOKKAIDO HERE I COME

It seems like the kind of character aesthetics I’m attracted to at any given time has a lot to do with the kinds of artists that inspire me at a given time. For example, I draw more bara kemo stuff when those artists are inspiring me and draw more mesukemo stuff when it’s those artists.
The universal constants in all cases though are that the characters have a certain “flow” to them and that they’re big in whichever capacity (barring macro since I’m indifferent to that).
