Some doodles from last night!
My first major marker test is a SUCCSESS! I’ve never really used markers before. At least, nothing besides quick doodles, so I never learned how to properly use them. If anyone who normally uses markers have any tips, I’d appreciate it!
For this one, I inked the sketch digitally and then printed it out on speciality Copic paper. Unfortunately, the printers at school can’t handle 600dpi and so I had to reline it with a Copic liner pen. I also didn’t have all the colors needed for Shun’s palette, so I ordered some more. In the mean time, I had to improvise. For those wondering how I feel about the ShinHan markers, I gotta say they’re quite awesome!
I inked an older sketch of an older Shun. I plan on printing it out and coloring it with my markers cuz I wanna try a hybridized approach sometime.
The haul came in the mail today! My Copic blender is coming in tomorrow. The ShinHan markers are amazing and they come in a really nice box too! I also got a Copic sketchbook, some marker specialty paper, and some Akashiya Sai pens! I’ve never really used markers in depth before so it’s going to be a learning process for sure.
