Still testing the tablet. The last doodle suffered from a resolution desynch between the tablet and the laptop screen but I think I got it fixed this time.
Test 1 of my new Yiynova MSP19u drawing tablet is a success! I heard reports that extended dual screen mode (when your computer treats both screens as one and you can move windows between them) did not work in SAI, but I had my suspicions given most reviews were out during the first iteration of the UC Logic digitizers.
However, installing the latest drivers makes everything work smoothly. I’ll conduct more tests soon, maybe even a free sketch stream.
If anyone is thinking of getting one of these, I highly recommend you pay attention to the model number! Look for the one that says MSP19U! The U is important as it means it’s the latest version which uses UC Logic digitizes (the piece of hardware the tablet uses to track your pen movements) which beat the old Waltop ones by miles.
If anyone would like me to test anything out, go ahead and ask! There might be certain things I can’t fulfill like testing it in software I do not own, but shoot away! I own both SAI and Photoshop CS3 as well as Copic Sketchbook pro.
I want to warm up by doodling a big girl sitting on poor inflatable Zeny. Any takers want to sit on a squishy seat? Leave an ask and suggest a character!
