Rocket Punching His Way Into Your Heart!

It’s honestly surprising how Morenatsu still gets new fans to this day even with the anniversary of it’s cancellation coming up in two weeks, even. It’s nice having more people to talk about it with, though.

what if kouya aotsuki made vaporwave instead of rock

or what if he made future funk

It’s Shun’s birthday Japan time, so here’s a quick bust doodle of an older Shun. It’s a bit different than my usual stuff, I feel.
If Morenatsu takes place in 2006 like the F-MEN magazine Kounosuke finds implies, then Shun would be 26.

Doodled a couple of The Boys last night while caught in a nostalgic mood at 1am.

I was reflecting on an aspect of Morenatsu outside of the game itself. When I was younger, I would often spend late nights and early mornings going through random Japanese websites, looking up info and rumors for games that haven’t been released yet. Sometimes, I would do the same for Digimon. Because Morenatsu is so imperfect and incomplete, I would often (and sometimes still do) prod the old 2003 website for info I might have missed about the game’s development. It’s a very nostalgic feeling.

Morenatsu tag is picking up so I might as well reblog some of my favorite Morenatsu fanart that I did a while ago

So, the Morenatsu tag is picking up again! I’d like to reblog this since it’s relevant again. There are spoilers under the cut, so please proceed with caution.

And now for actual Morenatsu fanart. It’s April 2nd in Japan atm, which is Kouya’s birthday. Happy birthday, husband!

My first major marker test is a SUCCSESS! I’ve never really used markers before. At least, nothing besides quick doodles, so I never learned how to properly use them. If anyone who normally uses markers have any tips, I’d appreciate it!

For this one, I inked the sketch digitally and then printed it out on speciality Copic paper. Unfortunately, the printers at school can’t handle 600dpi and so I had to reline it with a Copic liner pen. I also didn’t have all the colors needed for Shun’s palette, so I ordered some more. In the mean time, I had to improvise. For those wondering how I feel about the ShinHan markers, I gotta say they’re quite awesome!
