Rocket Punching His Way Into Your Heart!

Got myself some airplane tickets and accommodations for Golden Week 2017, so I’ll be in Tokyo early may. I’m so excited because I get to go to Kemoket!!!

That artbook looks cool! :O Is there a name for it, and maybe is it available online?

It’s called “Akira Toriyama The World Special” and you can buy it online. I bought mine from Amazon.JP, but it seems US Amazon also has it

EDIT: There’s two versions of the book, one is a hard cover and the other is a soft cover. They have similar contents but some drawings are different. The soft covered one has the wolves in it.

My only gripe with Akira Toriyama’s art style is how he samefaces a lot but overall his style is really unique and his mechanical designs are incredible. And, to be honest, I like his drawings for everything other than Dragon Ball Z the most (including the original Dragon Ball). Sometimes he’ll draw DBZ characters doing stuff outside the scope of DBZ like Goku riding a robowalker and those are so charming.

Recently bought an Akira Toriyama art book from the 90s and found these cute wolves. It was from a VHS children’s puppet show he did concept art for called Apple Pop.

I feel like I’ve gotten the hang out of balancing work and life here. After working on that doujin, I feel more confident in my ability to make stuff. So, right now the tentative plan after that doujin is to do a few short comics and after that get back to working on Werewolf Hostclub, even if it’s just small random drafts.

Hey guys, so those who follow me over on twitter know that I was invited to a kemono doujin anthology, so I thought I’d give you guys a preview! I can’t say much other than it’s a sumo themed anthology. It’s also my first comic ever (outside of short 3-4 panel comics), so it’s a learning process!

Marker doodles of Docchi I did at work. I’ve been growing fond of what was essentially a random design I did.

Cave Story doodles done throughout the week while I had downtime at work. The cat lady, Ame, isn’t from Cave Story but she’s a recurrent character in Pixel’s sideworks.
