Roses are red
Violets are blue
Remember the Kanji
And pass the N2
My current plan with Werewolf Hostclub is to draft a bunch of scenes to get to know my cast better. Afterwards, I’m going to make a draft of the actual game to see what works and what doesn’t work. Once that’s done, I’ll redo that too until I’m satisfied.
Last night, I started to do little mock up scenes to get to know my characters better. I’m sure there’s going to be many changes between this and final product, but I’m having fun.
Made a bunch of badly drawn placeholder sprites for prototyping my visual novel. They took maybe a minute or two each?
One of the third year students here was accepted into her first choice of nursing college. She was running and hopping about the teachers room the other day with her acceptance document in hand. I really wanted to doodle something based on that!
A while ago, I taught my students the phrase TGIF (which I transliterated for them as Arigatou kami-sama, kinyobi desu!). Today, I guess this one student in the back was just particularly excited for the weekend as he repeatedly yelled TGIF!!! the entire period and all I could do was nod my head and go “yeah, me too kid.”
Incidentally, his new nickname is Friday Boy.
Update: I have taught more classes TGIF and the phrase has been a big hit in all the schools I teach at. I think people just really appreciate TGIF.
