Thank you, Anon!
Typically those kinds of people don’t really know how - or want to- critically analyze a character because they want to hold that character up to a super high standard. I like all of the characters and Shin is up there for me alongside Kounosuke and Kouya, but I also enjoy breaking apart the writing because it’s fun to engage in that sort of thing.
Hi! Is this in reference to the Kounosuke comic? It seems my inbox ate up this message earlier!
Couple of Fat Friend Zeny doodles. He’s so rude, he just shows up to your house, takes off his pants and plops his fat ass on your sofa!!
ngl this is prolly why I sorta didn’t dig him. Like hate is a strong word. Can’t understand people hating on Kouya though. Course I haven’t played morenatsu in a long while.
It’s because Kouya has a very realistic plotline and for a lot of people that relateability is a huge selling point (especially for me because I had a very similar life!), but for others not at ease with themselves it just reminds them of feelings they’re running away from. Granted it’s not always the case but it’s enough that it warrants calling people out on mindless character hate.
I’d like to remind everyone that Nanafuse is Kounosuke’s guardian angel of sorts.
This comic was originally going to be Kounosuke himself doing the honors, but then yawar-fiesta suggested Nanafuse and I just couldn’t pass up the chance to draw Nana being a passive aggressive lil’ shit.
Also, really, this argument works for any character hate, especially Kounosuke as well as the few Kouya haters out there. Seriously guys if you’re going to hate a character, at least be self aware and be prepared to defend your stance with a decent argument or most people will just dismiss it as vapid hate.
