Anonymous asked: Does Japanese have intensifiers? Words like "This is a hella good dinner", "Holy shit, it's ugly", "I saw that damn cat again"
Currently, the two primary ones for intensifying something are totemo which is standard Japanese and metcha which is slang and a lot closer to “hella” or “lit”. You use these before the thing you’re describing in a sentence. As for other exclamation words, all I can think of is yabbai which is a general catch all that can mean good or bad things. It’s very multipurpose and can range from meaning “crap” to “yikes” or “woah”
Anonymous asked: What is Housamo and why is it filled with cuties o//w\\o
Housamo, which is an abbreviation of Tokyo After School Summoners from it’s kanji readings, is a mobile RPG here in Japan. It’s a game created by Life Wonders, a group that specializes in LGBT-centric mobile games. Housamo’s cast is like 50/50 humans and furries. Most of the humans are drawn by their in-house artist while the furries were commissioned from popular Kemono (Japanese furries) artists from the gay kemono community. Cool stuff!
