No. They know I draw but they just assume it’s all manga
probably but they wouldnt cuz theyre a good boy
if you keep drawing your fave character more and more off model every time you draw them, you eventually get an OC
Absolutely!
i feel safe here
kinda wanna do an art trade cuz im bored out of my mind
Ahaha well my voice does get pretty goofy when I get excited and my pitch rises. Also my tone changes depending on which language I’m speaking in. But thank you, I’m glad you like!
One of the worst aspects of developing anxiety issues in your 20s or beyond after surviving really shitty circumstances is that you start to get angry at yourself. You start to wonder why it is, after surviving abuse, that you’re now feeling the effects of anxiety. You made it all this way, got away from the people who hurt you, and yet now more than ever, you feel the anxiety. It becomes frustrating beyond belief and you feel ashamed and start to blame yourself. Of course, you know it’s not your fault. Rationally speaking, anyway. But your body won’t cooperate and your mind’s already racing.
This is just my experience though, maybe.
Well, like it has anywhere else really. People who wanted it bought it and everyone else stayed home.
Sounds like a pretty sweet deal. My fursona doesn’t have any powers though. I tend to separate fursonas and story characters.
HEY CALL ME ON MY CELL PHONE
That’s also something I get a lot, haha. Thanks.
It’s all natural
Thank you!
nerdcheetah replied to your audio post: in case you wanna hear what i actually sound like…
you sounds like a game character
I get that a lot
I haven’t really seen any other than drink and food vending machines. That said, they’re all pretty rad and have a really good selection of stuff. I can’t get over hot corn soup in a can though. That’s a bit much for me.
imagine still being against furry stuff in 2017
damn dude calm down go make a fursona
I’m glad you like my stuff and my Morenatsu fanart! As far as Code Lyoko goes, I wouldn’t say I’m a huge fan so much as I enjoyed it growing up and respect the director for his work in the anime industry. I do think it’s an entertaining show. Also the opening song was really good.
It’s like everywhere else and depends on the individual. That said, people have been nice for the most part.
How do you get your brain to focus on the project you’re currently working on and not a future one?
Today is graduation ceremony for the third year students. The Japanese school year runs from April-March rather than the August-June schedule schools in the US have. I didn’t really interact much with the third year students, but when I did it was pretty fun. The most high profile student that’s graduating is the kid I nicknamed Captain Ginyu.
On my first day here, Captain Ginyu insisted I draw Frieza on the board every time he saw me. He also would often ask me to do anime poses with him and eventually doing the Hunter X Hunter Janken pose became routine for us every time we passed by each other in the hall.
Anyway, the graduation ceremony should go pretty well.
tbh i think calling oneself a furry should be a choice someone makes rather than an automatic label
like i think its possible to really dig furry as an aesthetic, even when portraying an avatar, without wanting to be part of the nebulous concept of furry fandom
Sometimes it feels like your art is never improving forward, but rather it feels like you’re making a bunch of sidegrades instead. But you know, those totally count, and versatility goes a long way. You’re doing good.
I dunno if this is a common artist/writer issue but do you ever go “I wanna add this as symbolism” but then you’re like “wait what if that’s too blatant, edgey or pretentious??? Crap!!”
What I’m saying is, being clever is hard
I like being short but some days you just wanna be a huge fuzzy pal who can keep your friends safe + warm
It’s a per-session thing at the club
Whatever is cheapest at the convenience store
His job as a host literally makes him a Rent-A-Boyfriend so totally
