all i want is to cuddle up with a big round guy
Thank you!
I’m not sure. CSP and MS5 are the exact same program, so even if you have to get rid of one, it won’t hurt you.
Yep! It’s all accounted for on my end. I downloaded CSP, and then punched in the MS EX key and it worked.
So I was told by the Clip Studio twitter people that while you can transfer a Manga Studio licence to a CSP one, you couldn’t do it with a MS EX licence to transfer to a CSP EX one. However, I tried it and it worked!!
So yeah, if you have a Manga Studio EX key, what you do is, you download Clip Studio Paint and then when you open the program, go to Help > Register Licence and punch in your MS EX code. It worked for me and I’m really glad I didn’t have to buy another licence.
I don’t, unfortunately. All I have are his beta sprites . To be honest the only thing that changes between renditions of him is the roundness of his tum and cheeks because I’m inconsistent. There’s also the Valentine’s pic of him from last month.
Hope that helps!
I’ve been busy with school and applying for a ton of jobs, so I haven’t worked on anything other than core concepts and notes. I also drafted a logo today.

That said, I can’t really give an ETA on when I’ll start the meat of the project seeing as I don’t even know if I’ll be moving to Japan this summer or not, but rest assured once everything settles down, I’ll be working on it in regular increments.
CAN’T WAIT FOR MY SHINHAN MARKERS TO GET HERE ON FRIDAY OHBOYOHBOYOHBOY

Dunno! I’ll have to play around with it sometime.
If you have Clip Studio Paint or Manga Studio 5, you should update because they added animation features. You can make up to 24 frames with the normal version and unlimited with the EX. If you have Manga Studio, you can use the serial for it to get Clip Studio.

Ordered a 48 set of ShinHan markers among other supplies and it’s all thanks to your support! Thanks to everyone who commissioned me and reblogged my commission post! I’ll let everyone know my impressions once I use them. I hear they’re on par with Copics (which includes being refillable and having replaceable tips) but cheaper.
Last slot’s been filled. Thanks everyone!
Acta est fabula~!
Hey guys, if any of you have experience with traditional art, mind recommending marker brands to me? I know Copic is the big name, but they’re a bit out of my price range and seem to perpetually be out of stock at online retailers. I tried Prismacolor but I wasn’t too happy with them when I used them.
I heard that ShinHan is considered the top competitor to Copic and are cheaper. Has anyone used these? Also as far as sketchbooks, which ones have the best protection against bleeding?
Thanks!
And reblog this with your favorite pun?
thank u

I did this silly little thing on twitter a few nights ago where I asked people to show me a picture of their fursona and I’d give them a little compliment. I was surprised by how many takers I had and honestly found it cute + endearing how much people appreciated being told lil’ nice things about their character.
Just the little things in life, you know?
While Zeny is more of a character of his own rather than my fursona, it’s still an alias I keep for arbitrary convenience. However, I typically respond to any of my character’s names. I mean, why not? They’re always a part of you in some capacity.
I’ve been seeing various responses to the comic about audiences responding more to to fan work than original content. I’m not a fan of snark, so I’m not going to make a punchline out of it.
What I am going to say, however, is that yes it does sting when something coming from you doesn’t get as much attention as fan art. However, I’m going to let you guys in on a secret! Often, the things we draw fan art of are things that inspire us. So if you do original work consistently, you’ll often capture the “spirit” of the thing you did fan work of. Because of this, those that came for the fan art will often stick around for your original work, too. I know this first hand because a lot of my followers from the last year and a half have been from my Morenatsu fan art. What I found was that a lot of these followers stuck around for my original content, with some even looking forward to my visual novel!
So, vent your frustrations as an artist if you have to, but always remember there’s a silver lining and that a good number of your audience is willing to grow with you.
I’m a history major. I’m about to graduate in May, which got me looking back at the start of this journey. I want to be a self made artist, but before that, I’d like to try teaching because it’s something I’m passionate about. Hence, why I applied to the JET Program.
Thinking back to a few years ago, I remember I used to be one of those jerks that made fun of people for their majors. I especially made fun of philosophy majors because I thought I was being hilarious and edgy. Nowadays though, I don’t really rag on people for their majors because, listen, we’re all in this together. If someone wants to find a job with a philosophy degree, that’s their prerogative. One might argue that philosophy degrees, unless combined with other degrees, can only be used within academia. I don’t see an issue with this.
So please, don’t be That Guy ™ who rags on people for their choice of major. If someone wants to find a job in that field, supporting them and pointing them in the direction of their school’s academic resources and career centers will increase their chances of finding a relevant job. Furthermore, their department’s chair will likely know the inside scoop of said field. Nothing’s guaranteed in life, but making fun of someone for pursuing their academic passion hinders far more than it helps.
