Closing commissions for now. I opened at a really bad time and that’s totally my fault, but the good news is I have enough for the Sherlock Hound figma. I just need to pay for shipping myself though, but that’s not too bad.
Pooltoy and plush characters are so low stress to draw. They’re just like, a bunch of swishes and curves
You ever wonder how many people are into the kind of art you draw but they don’t like or reblog it because they’re very shy about it? Not that I mind, people are entitled to their privacy, but it’s amusing to think you’re part of someone’s SECRET STASH
I don’t enough for my characters even when I have ideas.
Any ways of getting into the habit of doing character building art? I’ve been having a lot of trouble with that.
moving my entire life to another country is really stressful i tell you what

Sometimes I tell myself I wanna make a 3D model of Zeny but then I sit there wondering how the heck I would even approach his hair

I mean???
I need to update Zeny’s reference sheet because his hair is a lot more unruly than it was back then lol
Hi there, thank you for the compliment! Glad you like my stuff.
My favorite character in Morenatsu is Kouya Aotsuki, with Kounosuke Kuri coming in at a very close second!
As for Blackgate, I’ve seen it, but I’m not really interested in having a go at it right now. Maybe later, when it’s done, though!
what if you printed the solo cup jazz hands design on a pair of tighty whities
They will engage in a spiky hair duel

So is it normal to have a billion ideas for a bunch of different stories except for the one you’re actually working on? If so, how does one focus on the current project at hand? It’s very frustrating lol
Finally got my specific placement. I don’t want to give too many details but let me tell ya, the initial description is really wild.
I have just been told I’ll be living in a huge family-sized apartment with 3 bed rooms for like 6,000 yen a month (about 60 bucks) and it’s also right behind the school I’ll be working at. Holy shit.
Welp, HOKKAIDO HERE I COME

It seems like the kind of character aesthetics I’m attracted to at any given time has a lot to do with the kinds of artists that inspire me at a given time. For example, I draw more bara kemo stuff when those artists are inspiring me and draw more mesukemo stuff when it’s those artists.
The universal constants in all cases though are that the characters have a certain “flow” to them and that they’re big in whichever capacity (barring macro since I’m indifferent to that).
Man my style is so inconsistent
Variety is the spice of life I suppose
For better or for worse, it may be your art style that makes people have that moment they realize they’re actually into something they didn’t think they were into. For me, I often get comments like “This isn’t my thing, but it’s done really well” which then becomes “Your art made me like that thing”.
I guess the moral of the story is, you’ll always find your audience, even if your audience ends up being fans you made from scratch!
