I AM AN EXCITED VIBRATING DOG
Those that know me know that I’ve largely fell out of playing video games. Most games don’t hold my attention for very long. At most I can play an hour of Smash Bros with friends or Mario Kart. I often found myself gravitating towards games with fun characters, great story, honest writing and an interesting or inviting aesthetic to go with it. A lot would argue that mechanics are most important in a game and if that’s your priority so be it but that’s not my priority. This is why I moved toward visual novels for the most part. However, Undertale, not only provides all of those and then some but it also had gameplay that held my attention.
Undertale is quirky, fun, and unique. It has a cast of great characters with fun designs and distinct personalities that bounce off each other very well. I cannot sing this game’s praises enough. At first glance, you might think it’s another indie Earthbound clone. While the influence is certainly there, Undertale manages to be it’s own unique experience.
Aside from the aforementioned points about Undertale the most important thing I want to highlight is that this game proves there’s a market for what I call The Empathetic Player. This type of player is someone who seeks games where they can empathize with the cast at eye level. Undertale provides that in generous amounts. In fact, the entire game can be completed by exercising empathy rather than physical confrontation (and in fact I would argue it’s a far more rewarding experience for the storyline you get out of it). A lot of games these days like to focus on gritty, hopeless situations with characters stuck in a system they cannot escape and Undertale flies in the face of that. I really recommend this game! You can get it for $10 on Steam or directly from Toby’s Undertale website:
Who in your OTP eats all of the cereal marshmallows out of the box without actually eating the cereal?
So my laptop finally crapped out after 5 years. Everything of importance is safely backed up.The good news is, I still have my Surface Pro 3 to do art on but it’ll be a while before I get used to doing any finished work on it since I normally just use it for sketches. I’m not sure when I’ll be able to afford a new laptop, but I hope soon.
As for Werewolf Hostclub, I haven’t done much art for it but I have been doing writing so I’m still working on it. I have most of the basic designs but I need to finalize them. For now though, I’ll focus on their actual writing.

This bugger. This guy right here <3
And thanks! I’m glad you like my work!
I hope you enjoy the demo!
Thank you!
I plan on going all the way with it!
Thank you!
Please look forward to future updates!
No problem, and thanks!

Well for starters, Shin and Juuichi’s worst endings. People gave Juuichi’s writer shit for it, calling that ending “The Problem Child of Morenatsu”. And of course, there’s Shun’s route. Despite giving him having solid character development, it is just massively problematic due to the creepy rantings of Hiroyuki throughout the entire thing.
I care a lot about Gay Anime Furries
The summer is nearing it’s end and what is my last summer break before I graduate university has got me reflecting about this charming little game. Hit the read more if you’re interested!
I just reblogged it! It’s seriously cute! Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed him!!
I really appreciate all of the feedback and comments I’ve been getting regarding Werewolf Hostclub ‘s demos. I cannot express enough gratitude! You guys are simply the best and your excitement fuels my motivation to get these things done. So again, thank you very much and I hope you look forward to further developments!
Also, regarding my other project, Caramel Cat, I still intend to complete it but for now it’s on hold because I’m not quite sure where to take it yet and on top of that my laptop just doesn’t agree with the resolution of the comic so working on it feels like it can crash at any time not to mention it gets really laggy. Still, it is something I want to see through the end because Shinouske is my favorite OTP of all time!!
Thank you! And yeah, I feel you. Like don’t get me wrong, I like porn and all but romantic fluff and general teasing is just so much more rewarding for me in the long run and I feel like people who aren’t so much into sex will also appreciate it, so I’m really glad you dig that!
Thank you!
Funny story, I found out that Tyrano Script is based off KiriKiri Action Script, which is what Morenatsu’s engine uses. Interesting tidbit I plan on experimenting with!
